I am very excited to be launching my own private midwife practice to serve Spokane and outlining areas. Accepting Most Insurance Plans and State Insurance.
I have been a midwife here in Spokane for many years with different practices and capacities: birth center, small practice, and locum work. I have chosen the name for my practice , Full Circle Midwifery, based off the desire to give individual-centered care while providing local referrals and resources from the community to create a “Circle Of Care” for each family that goes beyond their pregnancy and birth. I plan to offer many resources in my practice from myself and the community, such as childbirth and breastfeeding classes, prenatal massage, acupuncture, life coaching, nutrition, women’s health, and much more.

Kairos Midwifery, LLC
Tammy Desjardins LM, CPM, BSM
My love for midwifery began with my own home birth in 2000. I loved it so much that I had two more! Committed to homeschooling my six children, including leading a local cooperative, I was a stay-at-home mom for over twenty years. Realizing that my youngest child would empty our nest, I searched for my next assignment.
Midwifery became a clear path for me, so I dove in with as many classes and certifications as possible. The various opportunities to serve families has only solidified my desire and decision to follow this KAIROS calling. As a licensed midwife in Idaho and Washington, I am both honored and excited to be serving so many amazing families here in the Inland Northwest!
