Hi there! We’re Kelly and Nicki, certified full-spectrum birth workers with Birth & Beyond Doula Services. With us as your doulas, you can rest assured that your emotional needs will always be supported and encouraged.
We are here to empathize, listen, and help prepare you for the end of your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum time with your new family member. During your labor, we are there to encourage you and will advocate for you when needed, while reminding you of the strength that you already possess for this journey. We also offer both nighttime and daytime postpartum care, for that all-too-important fourth trimester. Our birth package is offered on a sliding scale fee and is also free for all teen parents under 18. We also offer complementary bereavement services for those going through perinatal and postnatal loss.
We are also certified Integrative Lactation and Feeding Specialists! This means we focus on ALL the ways of feeding babies: chest feeding, breast feeding, bottle feeding, exclusive pumping, re-lactation, inducing lactation, even supplemental nursing systems and more.
We offer our services in-home and virtual, so there’s one less stress that new parents need to worry about when it comes to their baby. Our services range from prenatal planning visits to help get you prepped for feeding your baby, to virtual and in-person visits, to follow-up care. All in-person visits include weighted feeds (if requested), while every visit includes parent and baby history, feeding assessments, flange sizing, plans of action and follow-up care.

I am here to listen to your needs and concerns during pregnancy, learn how to best support you, help you prepare for postpartum, and make sure you have all the resources you need. I provide all my clients with an herbal care package of teas and salves to support them through pregnancy and postpartum. During labor I will provide comfort and encouragement, help you move through labor physiologically, and advocate for your choices. Hi, I am Doree Handford. I teach @birthingfromwithin childbirth classes. I have been a childbirth educator for 12 years. I am certified through ICEA and have taught classes in multiple settings. Right now, I have the privilege to work with Lake City Physical Therapy in Rathdrum, Idaho. We will teach all aspects of childbirth preparation. Physical: with aligning you for birth and what to do to prepare. Emotional: providing a space to process all the emotions that come with pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood. Connection: providing partners with tools to help support and be included. Providing an environment to connect with other parents in your same stage of life. I’m a doula that works with families to prepare them for their birth and postpartum experience. I offer prenatal visits to help families prepare for their birth and provide access to community resources so they feel equipped to make informed decisions that feel right for their family. I show up for families when active labor begins (or sooner if mama is needing more support) and stay until after the delivery of the baby and are tucked in feeling safe. I come by a few days later for a postpartum visit, where we process the birth, address any questions and concerns, and get the family connected with resources in the community. I offer birth photography, and a newborn session at the postpartum visit.

Hi! I’m Stacey, and am passionate about birth, babies, parenthood, education and helping new parents during this amazing time in their lives! At this time, my main goal is to train others in this field, as well as offer private childbirth classes in the comfort of your home. I am an original member of DONA, Int., and ICEA, (International Childbirth Education Association), and am honored to train you to be a professional birth doula, or Childbirth Educator.
As an educator: I have been teaching childbirth classes since 1995, and offer MANY different styles of parenting preparation, listed below.
About my services: I reside in Hayden, Idaho, living my dream of being by lakes, pines and serenity. I provide birth and postpartum doula services in the Coeur d’Alene/northern Idaho area, and in home classes.
Childbirth Preparation classes: most classes are held in the comfort of your home, and run approximately 2.5-3 hours, and there are a few classes that are able to held virtually.
Childbirth preparation for new parents: 2 classes, each class 3 hours. Comfort skills for labor and delivery: 1 class, 3 hours, in person. Breastfeeding success and preparation: 1 class, 3 hours. Baby care and Sleep guidance: 1 class, 3 hours. Becoming Grandparents: 1 class, 2.5 hours via Zoom. I also offer breastfeeding guidance after the birth of the baby.

My calling is to offer an affordable doula care and ministry to mothers and parents who want to experience an intimate and holistic pregnancy and birth. I include a free consultation, meet n’ greet, contract signing, 3 prenatal visits, on call after 37 weeks, 24/7 labor work, and 2 postpartum follow ups.
